The 2016 Civic sedan will be available with two engines, a 158-hp 2.0L or a 174-hp turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine. The 2.0L can be mated to either a six-speed manual or CVT, while the 1.5L is only available with the CVT transmission. The 2.0L is rated at 27/40 mpg with the manual and 31/41 mpg with the CVT. Even though the 1.5L packs more power, it won’t hurt you at the pump, since it’s rated higher than the 2.0L at 31/42 mpg.
The 2016 Civic sedan will be available in LX, EX, EX-T, EX-L and Touring trim levels.
