Leaked patent drawings of the all-new 2016 Honda Civic have leaked online, giving us an early look at the production 2016 Civic. Honda gave us a preview of the new Civic Coupe earlier this month at the New York Auto Show with the Civic Coupe concept, but now we can see what the new sedan will look like as well.

Compared to the Civic Coupe concept, the patent drawings reveal that the production version will be toned down a bit, which is expected. Luckily many of the bolder design cues remain, like the wraparound taillights and aggressive front fascia.
Expect more details soon, but we do know that the 2016 Civic will be offered with a range of turbocharged engines, including a new 1.5L. Also one model that we don’t see here, is the new Civic hatchback that will be offered in the U.S.
