Honda has unveiled the updated 2016 Accord, which gets updated styling, Honda Sensing plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The updated 2016 Accord gets updated exterior styling with a restyled front fascia that gets a new hood with sharper character lines, LED fog lights, a new grille and more modern LED headlights. The rear of the 2016 Accord gets restyled LED taillights and a more aggressive bumper. All models will also ride on restyled wheels, while the Sport and Touring trim models get new 19-inch wheels – the largest ever offered on the Accord.

Inside the 2016 Accord gets updated with the addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which can be accessed via a new 7-inch touchscreen. Other interior upgrades include heated rear seats, HD Radio, a new 60/40 split and folding rear seat and new rain-sensing wipers.
To keep everyone safe, the 2016 Accord is available with Honda Sensing, which is Honda’s suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies. The suite includes Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control.
There aren’t any updates to the 2016 Accord’s powertrain, which can be equipped with either a 2.4L four-cylinder or 3.5L V6. The four-cylinder can be mated to either a six-speed manual or CVT, while the V6 gets either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2016 Accord will arrive in August.
