Ford has revealed the updates to the 2016 Ford Mustang with the biggest update being new hood vent turn signals that are inspired by the indicators that were first offered on the 1967 Mustang.
Ford says that Mustang fans have been asking for hood vent-integrated turn signals for years. The new hood vent turn signals will be standard on the GT. Other updates include the introduction of two new packages, the California Special Package for Mustang GT Premium and the Pony Package available for the Mustang EcoBoost Premium.

The California Special Package is available on the GT Premium and adds 19-inch ebony-painted machined aluminum wheels, ebony leather/ miko suede seats with red contrast stitching, hood and side stripes, a unique faux gas cap, special badging, a front splitter and a unique grille with tri-bar pony logo.
The Pony Package for the Mustang EcoBoost Premium, adds unique 19-inch polished aluminum wheels, tri-bar pony logo on the grille, side stripe and chrome window surround.
The 2016 Mustang will arrive in the third quarter of this year.
