Even though we’re just a week away from the debut of the second-generation 2016 Chevy Volt, GM has given a sneak peek of the new Volt at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The Consumer Electronics Show kicks off tomorrow, but at a private event tonight, GM quickly showed the 2016 Volt ahead of its debut next week at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. We do know that the new Volt will be powered by a new Voltec powertrain that will use a new 1.5L four-cylinder engine. The new powertrain will be more efficient and thanks to a lower curb weight, the new Volt will also have a longer electric driving range.
