We’re only a few weeks away from the debut of the all-new 2016 Chevy Volt, but Chevy is giving the world a sneak peek at its interior with a new video.
The video features Mark Reuss, GM’s Executive VP of Global Product Development who is seen driving behind the wheel of the 2016 Volt. In the video you can see part of the Volt’s interior, which is mostly draped in cloth. If you look closely you can see the Volt’s updated instrument panel and the larger center console that will house the Volt’s infotainment system.

The main purpose of the video is not to really show the 2016 Volt’s interior, but instead to preview GM’s second-generation Regenerative Braking On Demand system. The system features a steering wheel-mounted paddle that allows you to control the amount of regenerative braking that takes power that’s normally lost and puts it into the battery. The system is reportedly more refined than in the Cadillac ELR.
