2016 Chevy Equinox gets a facelift

Chevy has revealed the updated 2016 Equinox SUV, which is getting some styling updates, new wheels, updated safety features and some other small interior updates.

Chevy has revealed the updated 2016 Equinox SUV, which is getting some styling updates, new wheels, updated safety features and some other small interior updates.
The 2016 Equinox’s face has been restyled with a new chrome-accented dual-port grille, projector-beam headlights, LED daytime running lights on LT and LTZ models and new fog lamps on the LTZ. The rear end of the updated Equinox gets new Chevy-signature dual-element taillamps, a revised license plate applique and a revised lower rear fascia. The 2016 Equinox also gets new 17- and 18-inch alloy wheel designs.

Inside there’s a standard seven-inch Color Touch radio that also displays the feed from the rear camera on L and LS models. The instrument panel also gets a revised center stack with a new storage shelf and updated control graphics. The interior fabrics on L and LS models have also been revised with a more “premium” look.

The 2016 Equinox continues to offer either a 182-hp 2.4L four-cylinder or a 301-hp 3.6L V6.
