Buick has revealed a new sportier version of the 2016 Encore crossover – the Encore Sport Touring. The new sportier Encore Sport Touring features a more powerful engine and a few unique design cues.
The Encore Sport Touring is powered by a new turbocharged 1.4L four-cylinder that generates 153 horsepower and 177 lb-ft. of torque, which generates 15 more horsepower and 29 more lb-ft. of torque than the standard four-cylinder. The 1.4L is mated to a standard six-speed automatic transmission.

On the styling front, the Encore Sport Touring’s exterior features a rear spoiler, 18-inch wheels and body-color door handles. The Encore Sport Touring also comes with the Convenience package that adds a 120-volt power outlet, auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, dual-zone climate control, fog lamps, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert and remote starting.
