Acura has announced the pricing for the updated 2016 ILX, which now starts at $28,820. The 2016 ILX gets a bunch of big updates, like a standard 201-hp engine, a restyled exterior and more features.
The 2016 ILX is available in three trim levels: standard ILX, the ILX with Premium Package, and the ILX Tech Plus Package, supplemented by the addition of the AcuraWatch Plus and A-SPEC Packages. All trim levels are powered by a new 2.4L four-cylinder engine with 201 horsepower and 180 lb-ft. of torque. The 2.4L has 51 more horsepower and 40 lb-ft. of torque compared to the old standard 2.0L engine. The 2.4L is mated to a new 8-speed dual clutch transmission and is rated at 25/36 mpg.

The ILX comes standard with heated front seats, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, Smart Entry/Push-Button Start keyless access system, GPS-linked automatic climate control and LED accent lighting. The Premium Package adds a Blind Spot Information system, Rear Cross Traffic Monitor, leather seats, an upgraded audio system and a 7-inch On Demand Multi-Use Display touchscreen.

The ILX Tech Plus trim level adds the next generation of AcuraLink, Acura’s cloud-based connected-car system, Siri Eyes Free and Tech Plus grades can be equipped with the Acura Navigation System with 3D view, featuring and AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic with Traffic Rerouting.

The Tech Plus grade with AcuraWatch and embedded Acura Navigation adds a color Multi-information Display between the tachometer and speedometer and Acura/ELS Studio premium audio system along with the latest generation of AcuraLink connected-car technology. Also available for the first time (on the Premium Package) is a new tethered navigation system powered by the user’s compatible iPhone and data plan via the AcuraLink navigation app. Premium models also get enhanced audio options, including SiruisXM radio, HD Radio, Pandora and Aha integration, and HDMI connectivity.

If you want the ILX to look sportier, the ILX A-Spec ($32,810) adds side sill garnishes, a trunk spoiler, front fog lights and new 18-inch 10-spoke machined alloy wheels.
