2016.5 Mazda CX-5 gets more standard features

Mazda has announced some packaging updates for the 2016.5 Mazda CX-5, which goes on sale in January.

Mazda has announced some packaging updates for the 2016.5 Mazda CX-5, which goes on sale in January.
A backup camera is now standard on all trim levels equipped with the six-speed automatic transmission. CX-5 Touring models now have standard navigation and heated front seats and the CX-5 Grand Touring models also add navigation.

The CX-5 is available with either a 155-hp 2.0L or a 184-hp 2.5L four-cylinder. The base 2.0L is only available with a six-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. All models equipped with the six-speed automatic come standard with the more powerful engine.

Pricing for the 2016.5 CX-5 starts at $22,695.
