VW has announced the pricing for the 2015 VW Golf, which starts at $17,995 for the two-door Golf Launch Edition model with manual transmission.
VW has announced the pricing for the 2015 VW Golf, which starts at $17,995 for the two-door Golf Launch Edition model with manual transmission.
The seventh-generation VW Golf arrives in August and will again be offered in two and four door versions. This time there are two powertrains: a 170-hp turbocharged 1.8L four-cylinder or a 150-hp 2.0L diesel. The 1.8L can be mated to either a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel engine gets either a six-speed manual or six-speed DSG.

The 2015 Golf is now longer by 2.1-inches and wider by 0.5 inches. The only dimension that didn’t increase is its height, which has been decreased by 1.1 inches. It’s interior space is also bigger with 93.5 cubic feet of room compared to 92.9 for the previous Golf.
The Golf TSI will be offered in Launch Edition, S, S with Sunroof, SE and SEL trims. The Golf TDI starts at $21,995 and will be offered in S, SE and SEL trims.
