Subaru has unveiled the all-new 2015 WRX at the Los Angeles Auto Show. While we’ve all been fans of the past WRX models, the new one may disappoint some of you. First it doesn’t look anything like the WRX concept that was unveiled earlier this year and second it’s reportedly a bit slower than the last one.

The 2015 WRX is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine with 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque. It can be mated to a six-speed manual or new CVT transmission (eeek). When mated to the six-speed manual it will reach 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds and it will take 5.9 seconds with the CVT. Those specs are slower than the last WRX, which was able to reach 0-60 mph in the sub five second range. Disappointed? At least you still have the WRX STI.

Subaru hasn’t announced if the WRX five-door is dead and we will have to wait a bit longer to see the WRX STI, which is going to debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
