Mazda is getting ready to release an all-new MX-5 Miata, but before that happens Mazda is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the MX-5 Miata with the limited-edition 25th Anniversary Edition.
The MX-5 Miata 25th Anniversary Edition is painted in Soul Red metallic with the mirrors, windshield surround and hard top all painted in black. It also rides on Dark Gunmetal 17-inch alloy wheels and its headlamp bezels are blacked out. Inside the seats are covered in Almond colored leather and there’s extra chrome trim.
Only 100 25th Anniversary Edition models will be sent to the U.S.
Mazda is also previewing the next-generation 2016 MX-5 Miata by revealing its all-new Skyactiv chassis today in New York. Mazda says that the new chassis will help the next MX-5 Miata drop more than 220 pounds compared to the current model.
