Lexus has announced the updates to the 2015 IS. Since the IS was all-new for the 2014 model year, the 2015 model only gets a few updates like LED fog lights, Apple’s Siri Eyes Free and a few interior changes.
Lexus has announced the updates to the 2015 IS. Since the IS was all-new for the 2014 model year, the 2015 model only gets a few updates like LED fog lights, Apple’s Siri Eyes Free and a few interior changes.
All IS models gain the in-demand Siri Eyes Free mode. Compatible with the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 models forward, Siri responds to verbal requests to play music from iTunes, get turn-by-turn navigation, and more. Siri helps you keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel by reading notifications and calendar information.

In addition, the Lexus IS models add the Lexus Enform Remote, which allows the owner to remotely view and control certain vehicle features using a mobile app for iOS and Android devices. Key features include remote door lock/unlock; remote stop/start for the engine and climate control; vehicle finder, guest driver monitor and more.
Other updates include a heating steering wheel on AWD models, and heated/ ventilated front seats with the F Sport package.
The 2015 IS continues to be powered by either a 204-hp 2.5L V6 or a 306-hp 3.5L V6.
