Jaguar has taken the wraps off the 2015 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, which is going to debut next week at the Geneva Motor Show. With 542 horsepower, a 0-60 mph sprint in 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph, the hot XFR-S wagon is the kind of wagon that we need on this side of the Atlantic.

The 2015 XFR-S Sportbrake is powered by the same supercharged 5.0L V8 as Jaguar’s other hot models like the XKR and F-Type. It’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with Jaguar’s “Quickshift” technology, which is also used on the F-Type.

While the exterior of the XFR-S Sportbrake may not look much different than the XF Sportbrake (note the modified bumpers with carbon fiber additions and the roof mounted rear spoiler), Jaguar says that there are other modifications under the skin to further push the XFR-S Sportbrake’s performance potential.

Jaguar modified the rear suspension to manage the extra rear mass, giving it the same sharp turn-in and response as the XFR-S sedan. The active electronic differential and Dynamic Stability Control settings have also been tweaked.

Sadly we’ll probably never see the XFR-S Sportbrake in a U.S. showroom.
