Honda has announced that it is going to reveal new information about the Fit-based crossover next week at the New York Auto Show. It’s been reported that the crossover will officially be dubbed the Honda HR-V, but Honda has yet to confirm the reports.
Whatever it’s called, the new small crossover will be built on the same platform as the 2015 Fit and will go on sale in early 2015. Rather than unveil the new compact crossover, Honda is saving that for later this year and is instead is only going to release more information about it in New York. The 2015 Fit and the next-generation of Honda’s advanced humanoid robot, ASIMO will be the stars of the show this year.

We’ll likely not see the compact crossover debut until the LA Auto Show later this year.
