Last year Ford previewed a new seven-passenger MPV with the S-MAX concept and now the production version is set to debut next month at the Paris Motor Show.
The S-MAX borrows Ford’s latest design language, especially from the front where its face looks close to the restyled Focus. Underneath, the S-MAX rides on the same platform as the Ford Mondeo.

Inside the S-MAX has room for up to seven passengers and power folding second and third row seats make it easy to configure the interior for any situation. The S-MAX also gets the a hands-free tailgate, electrically adjusted steering column and heated and cooled front seats.
It’s expected that it will be offered with several engines, including a new 158-hp 1.5L and 237-hp 2.0L EcoBoost engine. A 2.0L diesel will also be available with three different horsepower outputs: 118-hp, 148-hp and 177-hp. All-wheel-drive is also an option.
It’s doubtful that the S-MAX will be offered in the U.S.
