Besides the extra content the biggest change is the deletion of the 1.6L EcoBoost four-cylinder engine and its manual transmission, which has been effectively replaced by the 1.5L EcoBoost engine and its six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2015 Fusion now comes standard with a rear view camera and configurable daytime running lights. The base Fusion S now gets standard 16-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels and there are four new exterior colors – Bronze Fire Tinted Clearcoat Metallic, Guard, Tectonic and Magnetic. A new Terracotta package available on Fusion SE and Fusion Titanium includes: terracotta leather-trimmed seats, terracotta door inserts, premium floor mats and 18-inch painted and machined alloy wheels.
Lastly all-wheel-drive is available with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost on Fusion SE Appearance and Fusion SE Luxury package.
