When Dodge announced that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is powered by a 707 horsepower V8, it also stated that it will be the fastest muscle car ever. The Challenger SRT Hellcat is poewred by a 6.2-liter Supercharged Hellcat HEMI V8 engine with 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft. of torque. The V8 can be mated to either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.
