Patent photos of the upcoming 2015 Fiat 500X crossover have leaked online ahead of its debut later this year. The Fiat 500X crossover is expected to debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show and will borrow styling cues from the small 500, but will have four doors and a raised ground clearance.
The 500X is expected to be based off Alfa Rome’s CUSW platform, which is also the basis for the Dodge Dar, Chrysler 200 and Jeep Cherokee. A Jeep version is also being developed alongside the 500X, but will be noticeably boxier. In Europe buyers will be able to choose a 0.9-liter TwinAir Turbo, 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo and a 1.6-liter MultiJet II turbodiesel. If the Fiat 500X comes to the U.S. we can expect it to only offer the 1.4L turbo.
