2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Rated at 22 MPG Highway

With 707 horsepower on tap, you’d think that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would be a gas hog, but Dodge has just announced that it is rated at 22 mpg on the highway.

With 707 horsepower on tap, you’d think that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would be a gas hog, but Dodge has just announced that it is rated at 22 mpg on the highway, when it’s equipped with the eight-speed automatic.
Of course 22 mpg is not exactly “green,” but Dodge is quick to point out that the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is rated higher than some exotic cars, like the 700-hp Lamborghini Aventador Roadster that only gets 18 mpg on the highway and the 583-hp Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT that’s rated at 19 mpg.

The when the 6.2L V8 is mated to a six-speed manual the Challenger SRT Hellcat is rated at 21 mpg.
