2015 Chevy Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Yukon SUVs Are Now Rated at 23 MPG

GM has announced that the 2015 Chevy and GMC SUVs are now almost 10 percent more fuel efficient than the outgoing models.

GM has announced that the 2015 Chevy and GMC SUVs are now almost 10 percent more fuel efficient than the outgoing models.

The 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL with the standard 5.3L engine are rated at 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway with two-wheel drive – a nearly 10 percent increase in highway mileage over the previous models and 7 percent greater city mileage.

The Yukon Denali and Yukon XL Denali models are powered by a 6.2L V-8 with 420 horsepower are rated at 15 city/21 highway in two-wheel drive models. The fuel economy ratings are expected to be the same for the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, which is powered by the 6.2L V8.
