2015 Chevy Impala Gets Stop/Start Tech

The 2015 Chevy Impala is getting standard start/stop technology on the base 2.5L Ecotec four-cylinder engine, which improves its city fuel economy by one mile per gallon.

The 2015 Chevy Impala is getting standard start/stop technology on the base 2.5L Ecotec four-cylinder engine, which improves its city fuel economy by one mile per gallon. The four-cylinder, which accounts for up to 30 percent of Impala’s sales is rated at 22 mpg city and 31 mpg on the highway.
The 2015 Impala is the second model to get the stop/start technology, following the 2014 Malibu. The 3.6L V6 powered Impala will not get the technology.

The 2015 Impala goes on sale this summer with a starting price of $27,735 for the 4-cylinder LS model, and $30,960 for the 6-cylinder LT model.
