Cadillac has officially unveiled the all-new 2015 Escalade, which marks the introduction of the fourth-generation of the Escalade.
Cadillac has officially unveiled the all-new 2015 Escalade, which marks the introduction of the fourth-generation of the Escalade. The new Escalade continues to share its platform with the rest of GM’s full-size SUV lineup, but borrows many styling cues from the rest of Cadillac lineup.
The 2015 Escalade will continue to be offered in the standard length model and the longer ESV version, which is 20 inches longer. The Escalade is also still offered in 2WD and 4WD versions, which feature a new direct-injected 6.2L V8 engine with 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft. of torque. The V8 is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The biggest upgrade to the 2015 Escalade is a new more upscale interior with higher quality materials and seats that are supposed to be more comfortable. The new interior is also quieter thanks to a stronger new body structure, new and enhanced acoustic material, and Bose Active Noise Cancellation technology.
The Escalade now has Cadillac’s CUE infotainment system that features a standard 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster can be reconfigured with four themes and an available head-up display projects information onto the windshield. An available Blu-Ray DVD rear entertainment system includes a nine-inch, roof-mounted screen on Escalade and two nine-inch screens on Escalade ESV.

The clear objective is to once again assume the leadership position among luxury SUVs.”
Production of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade begins next spring.
