Cadillac has unveiled the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe in Detroit, which is the automaker’s first ever compact coupe. Compared to the CTS Coupe, the ATS Coupe looks much closer to the ATS sedan sans the two rear doors. The 2015 ATS Coupe rides on the same 109.3-inch wheelbase as the sedan, but the roof, doors, rear fenders and trunk lid are unique to the Coupe. It is also the first production model to wear Cadillac’s revised crest.

“The 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe is a natural step in the brand’s progression, and another fun-to-drive and technologically advanced product for a new generation of drivers extending our target groups,” said Uwe Ellinghaus, chief marketing officer, Global Cadillac. “It is an exclusively distinctive American alternative, unique in its class, yet delivering a sporty and sophisticated driving experience rivaling the world’s best.”

The ATS Coupe can be equipped with either a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.6L six-cylinder that both send their power to the rear wheels or all four. The 2.0L has fourteen percent more torque than in the ATS sedan with 272 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The 3.6L V-6 packs 321 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic, while the 2.0L can be equipped with a six-speed manual transmission.
