Audi has unveiled the 2015 Audi S3 Cabriolet, which is the hotter version of the new A3 Cabriolet.
Audi has unveiled the 2015 Audi S3 Cabriolet, which is the hotter version of the new A3 Cabriolet. The S3 Cabriolet combines everything we love about the 296-hp S3 sedan, but with the drop top fun of the A3 Cabriolet.
The S3 Cabriolet is powered by a 296-hp 2.0L turbocharged TFSI engine that is mated to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission and Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system. The S3 Cabriolet can reach 0-62 mph in 5.4 seconds, which is a few ticks slower than the S3 sedan, while its top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph.
The S3 Cabriolet gets the same sportier exterior and upgraded interior as the sedan version, which includes a more muscular body kit and S3 badges. Inside the S3 Cabriolet gets a black interior with aluminum trim bits, sport seats and unique gauges. Audi also says that the S2’s cloth top only takes 18 seconds to lower.
A U.S. introduction has not been announced, but in Germany, the S3 Cabriolet is going to start at $8,500 euros.
