The E250 BlueTEC diesel sedan is powered by a four-cylinder diesel engine with 195 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. To ensure the E250 BlueTEC meets exhaust emission regulations in all 50 U.S. states, the BlueTEC system uses AdBlue injection to make the diesel as clean as a regular gasoline engine.

The E250 BlueTEC diesel sedan starts at $51,400, which is actually $500 less than the E350 sedan. The all-wheel-drive E250 BlueTEC 4MATIC starts at $53,900.
