In addition to the 2015 Kia Soul EV, Kia has also unveiled a refreshed 2014 Optima Hybrid at the Chicago Auto Show. For the 2014 model year, the Optima Hybrid gets several updates, including restyled front and rear fascias that were optimized to increase aerodynamic efficiency, new wheel designs, and unique grille and lighting elements.
Available in LX and EX trims, the 2014 Optima Hybrid is powered by 199 horsepower hybrid powertrain with 235 lb-ft. of torque that remains unchanged. The LX model is rated at 36 mpg city, 40 mpg highway, while the EX model delivers an EPA estimated 35/39 mpg.
Kia hasn’t announced the pricing for the 2014 Optima Hybrid, but it is already on its way to dealers.
