It’s powered by a 4.2-liter eight-cylinder engine with biturbo charging that produces 382 hp and 627 lb-ft. of torque. According to Porsche, the Cayenne S Diesel’s fuel consumption on the European cycle is just 8.3 liters per 100 km or 28 mpg. if towing is something your into, the Cayenne S Diesel will tow up to 7,700 pounds and has a driving range of 745 miles on a single tank.
The Cayenne S Diesel will be released in January 2013 and will cost 77,684 euros in Germany. Back in November Porsche unveiled the 2013 Cayenne Diesel (sans S) with a 240-hp V6 that will be offered in the U.S. this fall. Porsche hasn’t announced if the Cayenne S Diesel will be reach our shores.
