This fall Mercedes-Benz is going to release a refreshed 2013 GLK that will be offered with a diesel engine in the U.S. The addition of the diesel-powered will mark the sixth diesel-powered model in the automaker’s U.S. lineup.

The official specs of the diesel-powered GLK have not been released, but it’s been reported that it will be a four-cylinder. Steve Cannon, CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA stated that the addition of the diesel will likely push GLK sales into the “high 30’s,” up from the 24,310 units Mercedes-Benz sold last year.
