Infiniti has announced the pricing for the 2013 Infiniti FX crossover, which starts at $44,300. For 2013, the biggest change to the FX is under the hood, with a new 325-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 replacing the 3.5-liter V6. Now named the FX37, it is available in three models: FX37 RWD, FX37 AWD and FX Limited Edition. If you want more power, the FX50 AWD with standard 390-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 and All-Wheel Drive is also offered.
The other update for 2013 is the addition of the next-generation Around View Monitor system, which now features Moving Objection Detection (MOD). The MOD function helps enhance the driver’s situational awareness by providing visual and audible warnings if the system detects moving objects within the displayed image in situations such as when pulling out of a parking space. It is standard on FX50 and optional on FX37.
