Honda has announced the updates to the 2013 Crosstour, which arrives this month and starts at $27,230. For the 2013 model year, Honda is giving the Crosstour a more rugged exterior, a more powerful V6 and a lower starting price for the 4-cylinder model.
On the outside the 2013 Crosstour gets a newly refreshed exterior that provides a more rugged, active, and premium look. An under-floor storage area in the rear of the vehicle adds even more functionality, while reversible floor panels accommodate messy cargo. On the inside the 2013 Crosstour gets an updated design with higher quality materials. Honda also also added eyless Smart Entry with Push Button start and Honda’s LaneWatch blind-spot display system.
Under the hood buyers can choose between a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine or a 3.5L V6. The 2.4L engine produces 192 horsepower and 162 lb-ft. of torque. It’s mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission and is rated at 22 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined. The 3.5L V6 puts out 278 horsepower and 252 lb-ft. of torque. The V6 is mated to a six-speed automatic and buyers can choose between 2WD or 4WD configurations. The Crosstour 2WD V6 is rated at 20/29/23 mpg, while the 4WD Crosstour V6 is rated at 18/28/22 mpg.
