The Ford Flex is getting a facelift. For the 2013 model year Ford has given the seven-passenger Flex a new face and new technology like adaptive cruise control.

The 2013 Ford Flex is going to be officially unveiled next week at the LA Auto Show. The new Flex is immediately noticeable thanks to its new front end, which Ford claims creates more visual harmony between the front and the rest of the Flex. The rear of the Flex gets standard dual exhaust.

Under the hood the base Ford Flex is powered by a 3.5L V6 that now puts out 285 horsepower, which is 20 more horsepower than the previous engine. The new Flex also saves you more gas thanks to getting 1 mpg more fuel economy, with projected fuel economy of 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. Of course if you want more power the Flex is available with the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 that packs 355 horsepower and 350 lb-ft. of torque.
