Acura has announced the pricing for the 2013 Acura ILX compact sedan, which will go on sale next month.
Acura has announced the pricing for the 2013 Acura ILX compact sedan, which will go on sale next month. The 2013 Acura ILX starts at $25,900 for the entry-level trim that is powered by a 2.0L 150-horsepower engine and a five-speed automatic transmission. The ILX with the 201 horsepower 2.4L engine starts at $29,200, while the ILX hybrid starts at $28,900. The ILX hybrid is rated at 39 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
“The 2013 Acura ILX will serve as the gateway to the Acura brand,” said Jeff Conrad, vice president of Acura sales. “At the leading edge of a new, sporty compact segment, the ILX delivers style, value, performance and connectivity to younger buyers looking to move into the luxury market.”
The 2013 Acura ILX will come standard with features like a Keyless Access System with smart entry and pushbutton start, Pandora internet radio interface and an SMS text message function. It also has a standard power moonroof, aluminium wheels and Bluetooth.
The Premium Package adds leather seating surfaces, heated front seats, a power driver’s seat, an upgraded 360 watt stereo system with XM radio, HID headlights, foglights, 17-inch aluminium wheels, a multi-view rearview camera and an Active Sound Cancellation system.
The Technology Package adds an ELS Surround audio system, which includes AcuraLink Satellite Communication System, Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition, AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic with Traffic Rerouting, AcuraLink Real-Time Weather with radar image maps and HomeLink. The navigation system makes use of a hard disk drive with 60 gigabytes of storage capacity.
