2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid Arrives in Dealerships and Starts at $25,900

Toyota has announced that the all-new 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid is now arriving in dealerships with a starting price at $25,900, which is $1,150 cheaper than the outgoing model.

The 2012 Camry Hybrid is powered by an updated version of Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive system and a new 2.5L four-cylinder engine. The system has an EPA rating of 43 city and 39 highway, with a combined 41 mpg rating. The 2012 Camry Hybrid now has a new EV mode that allows the driver to operate the car using the electric motor alone under certain conditions for up to one mile at speeds below 25 mph.

The Camry Hybrid LE comes standard with projector beam headlamps, dual-zone auto A/C and the Smart Key System with push button start. The Camry Hybrid XLE starts at $27,400 and comes with a touch-screen navigation system, 17-inch alloy wheels. Other options includes premium HDD navigation, a JBL audio system, a blind spot monitor, leather seats and a Convenience Package that includes an integrated backup camera, HomeLink Universal Transceiver, and Anti-Theft System.
