Mercedes-Benz has released new photos of the US-spec 2012 M-Class. The third-generation M-Class is all-new for the 2012 model year and now sits almost an inch lower, is an inch longer and half an inch wider than the last generation. The 2012 M-Class will be available either as the ML350 BlueTec diesel or the gas powered ML350 4MATIC.
The ML350 is powered by a 302 horsepower 3.5L V6 that now has 13 percent more power than the last model. The ML350 BlueTec is powered by a 3.0L V6 diesel that puts out 240 horsepower and 455 lb-ft. of torque. The 3.0L diesel gets 30 percent better fuel economy than a comparable gas engine.
