Honda is giving the 2012 Honda Pilot a mid-life refresh. On the outside buyers will notice the new three-slat grille and revised fog lights. Under the hood is where the most important changes are.

Honda claims that the 2012 Pilot will be the most fuel efficient three-row eight passenger SUV available, although the official specs have not been released. The 2012 Pilot gets a new six-speed automatic, which replaces the old five-speed in the 11′ model.

On the inside, the 2012 Pilot gets a revised navigation and audio system. Other than that the rest of the changes are the addition of new colors and revised wheels.

The 2012 Honda Pilot will be available in September. Honda has also released a photo of the 2012 CR-V Concept, which is a preview of the all-new CR-V.
