BMW has officially unveiled the fifth-generation 2012 M5.
The 2012 BMW M5 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8 that puts out 560 horsepower and 502 lb-ft. of torque. The V8 is mated to a seven-speed M double clutch transmission. BMW hasn’t announced if the M5 will be available with a manual transmission. It reaches 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph, which can be bumped up to 190 mph with the M Driver’s Package.
