Audi has announced that the all-new 2012 Audi A6 will officially arrive in US showrooms next month. The 2012 A6 carries a base price at $41,700 for the A6 2.0T.

The all-new A6 was officially unveiled late last year. The base A6 is powered by Audi’s 2.0L TFSI engine that puts out 211 horsepower and is mated to a CVT and front-wheel-drive. Standard features include 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seats, a sunroof, MMI Radio Plus with 6.5″ screen and 3-zone climate control. Stepping up to the Premium Plus package adds $4,220 to the price and includes: 18-inch wheels, a navigation system, xenon headlights and a 7-inch driver information system.

The A6 3.0T quattro is powered by a 310-hp 3.0L V6 and starts at $49,900. The Premium and Premium Plus packages are the same as the 2.0T model. The 3.0T quattro cab be outfitted with the Prestige package ($6,800), which adds 4-zone climate control, a Bose audio system, S line exterior styling and adaptive headlights.

We’re still waiting for Audi to unveil the S6, which is due sometime within the next year. Sadly Audi has no plans to bring the A6 Avant to the US.
