Chevrolet has unveiled the newly restyled Aveo 5-door for the European market, the successor to the Kalos. The sedan version already received a restyle for the 2007 model year, although for some reason Chevy did not update the 5-door. Well now the automaker has updated it and all I can say is….what’s up with that wannabe Audi grille?
It actually looks like they took the exact grille from the upcoming 2008 Chevy Malibu and stuck it on here. Not pretty. Also why do automaker’s think that a little side vent on the front fender will make the car look sportier? It’s not…If anything it makes it look even worse on this car.
The car will come with either a 1.2L 84 horsepower engine or a 1.4L 98 horsepower engine. The new Aveo will go on sale in Europe in March 2008.
Well let’s hope this doesn’t make it to the US. The Fit, Yaris, Versa will eat it alive!
