Tesla is making the Model S a little more attainable with the introduction of a new 60 model that now starts at $66,000.

Tesla is making the Model S a little more attainable with the introduction of a new 60 model that now starts at $66,000.
The new base Model S 60 has an estimated driving range of 210 miles and can reach 60 mph in 5.5 seconds. If you want all-wheel drive, the base 60D will start at $71,000 and has a driving range of 218 miles. The 60D can also reach 60 mph a little faster at 5.2 seconds.

The introduction of the new 60 and 60D models follows the refresh to the Model S that was unveiled in April. You’ll notice that the updated Model S has a refreshed grille, new headlights and an upgraded air filtration system.
