The next-generation Panamera will ride on a new platform, which will get several performance enhancements, like rear-wheel steering, a launch control system and an upgraded exhaust system. The new Panamera will also drop some weight compared to the current model. Porsche hasn’t revealed what will power the new Panamera, but it’s expected that the automaker’s new twin-turbo V8 will be on the option list, as well as hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions.
Expect to see the 2017 Panamera debut later this year at the Paris Motor Show. Porsche has also confirmed that the next Panamera will be sold not only as a sedan, but a wagon.
