McLaren says that the 675LT Spider was created due to “significant customer demand,” although only 500 units are set to be produced. On the outside, the 675LT Spider gets a larger front splitter, new side skirts and an active Longtail airbrake that is 50 percent larger. It also rides on unique 19- and 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels and the top can operated at speeds up to 19 mph.

Inside there are lighter carbon-fiber shelled racing seats and in an effort to save weight, the air conditioning system doesn’t come standard. The air conditioning system can be ordered as a no-cost option, but it will add an additional 35.2 pounds to the car.

The 675LT Spider will reach 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and 0-124 mph in 8.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 203 mph.
