Acura has just confirmed that the all-new NSX supercar will be produced at a new Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio, starting in 2015. The new $70 million advanced production facility encompassing 184,000 square feet to be housed inside Honda's former North American Logistics facility and located in the midst of Honda's existing R&D and production engineering operations.

Acura has announced the updates to the 2014 Acura ILX, which gets more standard features for the new model year. It's been widely reported that the ILX has failed to meet Acura's initial sales expectations, so hopefully the new features will help.

The 2013 Honda Civic has received the received the highest possible overall safety ratings from both the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The 2013 Civic Sedan recently received the top 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score in the NHTSA's New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), and the highest possible rating of TOP SAFETY PICK+ from the IIHS, including a top score of GOOD in the new small overlap frontal collision test.

Production of the all-new 2014 Acura MDX has kicked off at Honda's plant in Alabama. "Today, we celebrate a new Alabama-made vehicle, fueled by the pride of Honda associates who are committed to exceeding the expectations of our Acura customers," said Tom Shoupe, HMA president.

Honda has unveiled three new concepts at the Shanghai Motor Show, which preview models that will soon be available in China. The Concept M previews a new MPV, the Crider is a new sedan for the middle-class and the Jade concept is a new hatchback "people mover."

Acura has unveiled the SUV-X Concept in Shanghai, which Acura says is a preview of a new small global concept vehicle that is developing primarily for the Chinese market. The SUV-X concept also marks the first time for Acura to introduce the world premiere of a concept model outside of North America.

Honda has already received so much interest for the new NSX, that it has already starting taking orders for the supercar in the UK. For a deposit of £5,000 potential owners can be among the first in the UK to get behind the wheel of the brand new NSX when it hits showrooms in 2015.

The Honda concept model previews an all-new Honda model that will be introduced to the Chinese market. The model we should care more about is the new Acura concept, which previews a new "global" crossover model.

Acura has announced the pricing for the 2014 Acura RDX, which goes on sale today starting at $34,520. The Acura RDX was completely redesigned for the 2013 model year, so the 2014 RDX only gets a new Kona Coffee exterior paint color that replaces the previous Amber Brownstone.

As promised Acura has unveiled the all-new 2014 Acura MDX at the New York Auto Show. Acura previewed the new MDX at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year and as typical with all Acura/ Honda prototypes, the production model looks almost identical.

Honda has updated the 2014 Honda Odyssey, which is making its debut this week at the New York Auto Show. The 2014 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite offers new safety upgrades, a refreshed exterior and interior and a bunch of new technologies like the debut of HondaVAC, the first in-car vacuum.

Acura previewed the next-generation 2014 MDX at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year with a prototype of the next MDX. Acura has confirmed that the production version of the 2014 Acura MDX, which should look pretty close to the prototype, will debut this month at the New York Auto Show.

Honda has announced that it will unveil the refreshed 2014 Honda Odyssey at the New York Auto Show this month. Honda hasn't released many details or photos of the 2014 Odyssey, but has only stated that it will feature "some innovative new features."

Honda has announced that the refreshed 2013 Honda Civic sedan and coupe are the first small cars to receive a Top Safety Pick+ Rating from the IIHS. The new Civic Sedan is not only the first small car to earn Top Safety Pick+ in the industry, but also the first and only to earn the highest possible rating of Good on the IIHS' new small overlap frontal crash test.

The 2013 Honda Accord Coupe has received a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), which is the highest rating possible. The 2013 Accord Coupe is also the only vehicle in its class to earn a NHTSA 5-star Overall Vehicle Score and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick+ rating with Good ratings in all test modes.

Honda has announced that the 2013 Honda Fit EV is set to arrive on the East Coast later this month. Up until now the Fit EV has only been available in California and Oregon. The Fit EV will be available for lease at Honda dealerships in selected markets in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, New York, and New Jersey. Customers will be able to lease the Fit EV for three years at $389 per month.

Honda is going to bring two new concepts to the Geneva Motor Show next month, the Civic Wagon concept and the revised NSX concept.

Honda has announced that it will integrate support for Apple's Siri into its 2013 Honda Accord and Acura RDX and ILX models as a dealer installed option. Later this year, owners with an iPhone running iOS 6 can direct Siri to perform a number of specific tasks while they safely keep their eyes on the road and their hands on the wheel.

The 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid has officially arrived in select dealerships in California and New York. The 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid is rated by the EPA at 115 MPGe in all electric mode, making it the most fuel-efficient sedan in America. It starts at $39,780 and buyers can also lease it for $429 a month.

Honda has unveiled its latest concept, the GEAR concept at the Montreal Auto Show. The GEAR Concept Study Model demonstrates Honda's approach to providing the automotive answer for young, urban, Gen-Y lifestyles. Inspired by fixed-gear bicycles, GEAR is a concept that represents an entirely new way of looking at the sub-compact vehicle. It is simple and utilitarian, but also customizable, connected and full of personality.

Acura has announced the pricing for the all-new 2014 Acura RLX flagship sedan, which starts at $48,450. The 2014 RLX officially goes on sale on March 15. "With an array of signature Acura technologies, the 2014 Acura RLX sets a new standard for luxury in the Acura lineup," said Jeff Conrad, vice president and general manager of Acura Sales. "The feature-rich RLX epitomizes Acura's 'Man-Machine Synergy' product direction, utilizing advanced technology and smart vehicle design to deliver incredible performance, comfort and value on a luxury scale."

We're still two years away until the next Acura NSX arrives, but in the meantime Acura has unveiled the next evolution of the NSX concept.

Acura has previewed the all-new third generation 2014 MDX with the MDX Prototype. The 2014 Acura MDX will launch by mid-2013 in both all-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive layouts."Our goal is to advance on MDX's already great dynamic performance while improving fuel economy and luxury comfort," said Mike Accavitti, vice president of national marketing operations. "Building on the great momentum we established in 2012 with the launch this year of our flagship RLX, followed later this year by a terrific new luxury SUV in MDX we are very excited about the direction of the Acura brand. And we are truly looking forward to a great 2013."

Honda has unveiled the Urban SUV Concept, which is a preview of its new Fit-based crossover that is slated to launch in Japan by the end of 2013 and arrive in the US in 2014. "No one has had greater success with small cars than Honda, and this Urban SUV Concept will create new value in the growing small-SUV segment," said John Mendel, executive vice president of sales at American Honda. "With the continued expansion of our North American manufacturing operations, we expect fuel-efficient and fun-to-drive 'small' cars to play a key role in meeting the needs of our customers in the U.S."

We're only a day away from the official kick off of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, but that isn't stopping all the photo leaks. We've already seen early photos of the 2014 Chevy Corvette and Infiniti Q50. Now we have two early photos of Honda's new Urban SUV Concept, which previews Honda's new small crossover, which will be built on the next-generation Fit platform.

In addition to the new 2014 Accord plug-in hybrid, Honda is also going to release a standard Accord hybrid that will arrive this fall. Honda has announced plans to invest $23 million and hire approximately 50 new associates at its Marysville, Ohio auto plant to add production of the new two-motor Accord hybrid sedan. This will be the third hybrid model built by Honda in America and the first in Ohio. Honda Manufacturing of Indiana, LLC in Greensburg, Indiana was the first Honda plant in North America to build a hybrid vehicle, and currently produces both the Civic Hybrid and Acura ILX Hybrid models.

Honda is showing off its lineup for the upcoming 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon, which kicks off on January 11 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

The all-new 2013 Ford Fusion and Honda Accord both just earned an overall good rating in the aggressive, new small overlap frontal crash test conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Under the more stringent testing guidelines by the IIHS, the new small overlap frontal crash test--sometimes called a "narrow offset" test--is designed to replicate what happens when the front corner of a car collides with another vehicle or an object such as a tree or utility pole.

The 2013 Acura ILX was introduced as a new entry level Acura model that will eventually replace the TSX in Acura's lineup. Unfortunately the ILX has failed to meet sales expectations, so Honda is currently working on some quick changes to the small sedan, which will hopefully turn things around.

Acura is slated to unveil the all-new 2014 Acura MDX next month in Detroit. Acura has released a teaser photo of the next MDX, which Acura says utilizes Acura's "Aero Sculpture" design language affecting both form and function. Acura also states that the 2014 MDX will feature "alluring proportions with smooth, arching body lines matched to an efficient architecture."

Honda has released a teaser photo of its new compact "Urban SUV Concept" vehicle, which will make its world debut next month at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. According to Honda, the concept "is a global concept model combining a sporty and dynamic SUV profile with a spacious, functional interior."

Honda is reportedly working on three variants of the next-generation 2014 Honda Fit, which will debut by the end of next year. The new Fit will be offered as a hatchback, sedan and Honda is also working on a Fit-based crossover.

Honda has announced that it has built its 1 millionth automobile to be exported from the U.S., 25 years after the first U.S.-made Honda was exported to overseas markets. The 1 millionth vehicle was a silver 2013 Honda Accord EX-L sedan, which will find a home in South Korea.

Honda has announced at the Los Angeles Auto Show today that the 2014 Accord Plug-In Hybrid will be available for retail sale and lease beginning January 15 in California and New York, with an MSRP of $39,780. The 2014 Accord Plug-in has also earned the highest EPA MPGe rating in its class (115 MPGe), surpassing plug-in-class competitors including the Ford C-Max Energi (100 MPGe), Chevy Volt (98 MPGe), and Prius Plug-in (95 MPGe).

The current generation Honda Civic has only been on the market for one model year, but Honda has answered critics with a throughly revised 2013 model. Honda already gave us a preview of the exterior changes earlier this month, but today we get to see what Honda updated on the inside. The 2013 Honda Civic sedan receives all-new front and rear exterior styling, along with extensive interior styling upgrades on all models. Retuned steering and suspension sharpen the Civic's handling, while extensive body and chassis upgrades are set to improve the ride comfort and interior quietness.

Following the debut of the Acura RLX concept earlier this year, Acura has officially unveiled the 2014 Acura RLX today in LA. According to Acura, the new RLX is "the most powerful, spacious, and technologically advanced Acura sedan, ever." The RLX will be offered with either a V6 engine, a hybrid powertrain and the first-ever application of Acura Precision All-Wheel Steer.

Honda has unveiled the US-spec version of the revised 2013 Honda CR-Z. For the 2013 model year the CR-Z hybrid gets new styling tweaks, an updated interior and most importantly, more power under the hood. One of our biggest complaints about the current CR-Z is that it's hybrid powertrain could use more power to fully earn its "sport hybrid" label. Honda has answered this with a little more power under the hood, without reducing its fuel efficiency.

Honda has announced the updates to the 2013 Crosstour, which arrives this month and starts at $27,230. For the 2013 model year, Honda is giving the Crosstour a more rugged exterior, a more powerful V6 and a lower starting price for the 4-cylinder model.

Honda has released some of the details for its new Sport Hybrid Intelligent Dual Clutch Drive hybrid system that will be used by Honda's smaller vehicles. According to Honda, the Sport Hybrid Intelligent Dual Clutch Drive system will be the latest addition to the Earth Dreams Technology series of next generation powertrain technology that realizes both excellent driving performance and high fuel efficiency.
