Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the updates to the 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, which for the new year gets even more aggressive with the addition of a newly developed "Edition 507". The 2014 C63 AMG "Edition 507" uses much of the same technology as the SLS AMG: the eight-cylinder naturally aspirated engine features forged pistons, connecting rods and a lightweight crankshaft as seen on the super sports car.

Chrysler has taken the wraps off the latest version of the Dodge Challenger, the 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T Redline, which is based on the Challenger R/T. It features unique exterior accents, a performance suspension and signature 20-inch Black Chrome wheels with a Redline Red accented lip.

The Baltimore Ravens took home the win last night at Super Bowl XLVII and Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Joe Flacco received the MVP award. Chevy was the official sponsor of the Super Bowl XLVII MVP Award and presented Flacco with the keys to a 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray. The honor of awarding the Super Bowl XLVII MVP Award was given to Rick Flick of New Orleans' Banner Chevrolet, who knows a thing or two about comebacks. Banner Chevrolet, a part of Flick's family for 40 years, was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina and was the first business to reopen in New Orleans East after the devastating 2005 storm. Flick presented quarterback Joe Flacco with a 2014 Corvette Stingray today in recognition of his effort in leading the Baltimore Ravens' to a 34-31 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.

Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that the high-performance version of the new CLA, the CLA45 AMG will have its world debut at the upcoming New York Auto Show, which kicks off a the end of March. Mercedes-Benz hasn't announced what will officially power the CLA45 AMG, but it's reportedly going to be powered by a 2.0L turbocharged engine with 335-hp and 295 lb-ft. of torque. The engine will be paired with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and all-wheel-drive.

Infiniti has announced that the 2014 Infiniti Q50 will debut at the Geneva Motor Show with a new powertrain that will be borrowed from Mercedes-Benz. The Q50 for Europe includes the first fruit of the co-operation agreement with Daimler aka Mercedes-Benz. BMW has unveiled a new version of the popular BMW 3 Series, the 2014 3 Series Gran Turismo. The 3 Series Gran Turismo is the 3 Series version of the somewhat unloved 5 Series Gran Turismo. It features a hatchback design and is 7.9 inches longer than the 3 Series Sports wagon, offers a 4.3 inch longer wheelbase and stands 3.2 inches taller.

Toyota has unveiled the redesigned 2014 Toyota Tundra full-size pickup today at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. Toyota says that the new Tundra has been redesigned inside and out, while it was designed by Toyota's design centers in Newport beach, Calif. and Ann Arbor. Kia has unveiled the Cross GT Concept in Chicago, which signals Kia's intentions to release a larger premium crossover than the current Kia Sorento. "The debut of the GT in 2011 heralded a new frontier for Kia, both from a design and a business perspective," noted Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors Corporation president and global chief of design. "It beautifully illustrated to the world that the brand was ready to explore the possibility of perhaps one day offering a full-size rear-drive luxury saloon. Ford has announced that the 2013 Ford Focus Electric has earned a top vehicle safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Kia has already given us a preview of its VW GTI fighter in the form of the three-door pro_cee'd GT. Kia plans to also offer it in a five-door version and a photo of it has surfaced online ahead of its debut next month in Geneva. The five-door version gets the same aggressive exterior styling as the three-door, which should make it a great alternative to the VW GTI. Under the hood it will be powered by a 201-hp 1.6-liter GDI turbocharged engine that is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

GM is employing a new lightweight "smart material" on the 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray, which helps it drop 99 pounds compared to the outgoing Corvette. The 2014 Corvette is the first vehicle to use a GM's new lightweight shape memory alloy wire in place of a heavier motorized actuator to open and close the hatch vent that releases air from the trunk. This allows the trunk lid to close more easily than on the previous models where trapped air could make the lid harder to close.

Honda has announced that the 2013 Honda Fit EV is set to arrive on the East Coast later this month. Up until now the Fit EV has only been available in California and Oregon. The Fit EV will be available for lease at Honda dealerships in selected markets in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, New York, and New Jersey. Customers will be able to lease the Fit EV for three years at $389 per month.

McLaren has released a new set of photos of the McLaren P1 design study following its Middle East debut in Bahrain in January. These new photos have been released ahead of its arrival in the United Arab Emirates this week. The new photos of the design study were taken at the Bahrain International Circuit. Bahrain is the Middle East base for McLaren, and is also home of its majority shareholder, Mumtalakat.

Cadillac has announced the introduction of pair of new limited-edition models featuring custom paint will join the Cadillac CTS Coupe and V-Series product lines this year. The Silver Frost Edition will be a special run of 100 CTS-V Coupes featuring a special low-gloss matte paint finish. The Stealth Blue Edition is a more traditional metallic finish and will appear on the CTS Coupe and the high-performance CTS-V in Coupe, Sedan and Wagon body styles.

According to Nissan, owners of Nissan Leaf around the world have now covered a total distance of more than 260 million kilometers. Bentley has unveiled the 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur, which is going to have its world debut next month at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The 2014 Continental Flying Spur gets a more athletic exterior, reduced weight and is powered by a 616-hp 6.0L W12 engine.

McLaren continues to slowly release the details for the upcoming P1 supercar that is going to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Today McLaren has announced the official powertrain specs for the P1. The P1 will be powered by a mid-mounted 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and electric motor that together have a combined output of 903 horsepower.

Jeep already ended production of the current Jeep Liberty, but we won't have to wait too long to see its replacement. Jeep's boss Mike Manley has confirmed that the Liberty's successor is going to be unveiled next month at the 2013 New York Auto Show. Although the new Liberty is going to be unveiled in just over a month, it still hasn't been confirmed if it will be called the Liberty, Cherokee or something entirely new.

Audi has unveiled the new audi A3 e-tron plug-in hybrid, which is going to debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. On the outside the A3 e-tron looks almost identical to the five-door A3, but under the hood its powered by a new plug-in hybrid system that according to Audi provides a glimpse "into the future of mobility as Audi is planning it."

Land Rover has something to celebrate. The all-new Range Rover has received 10 international awards in just three months since production began. The most recent honor came from the AUTOBEST group of motoring writers, naming the all-new Range Rover 'TECHNOBEST 2012'. Recent awards also include 'Dream Machine' from the US TV show MOTORWEEK, 'Luxury Car of the Year' from both What Car? and Top Gear magazines and 'Best Cars - Import Category' from Auto Motor und Sport. The model was also crowned '4x4 Category Winner' in The Sunday Times' Top 100 Cars 2012, among others.

Following yesterday's spy shots of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, Jeep has quickly responded by releasing the first photos and details for the Liberty's replacement. It's actually quite interesting since the first photos that were sent to Jalopnik were obviously not very flattering photos of a few prototypes in a factory. Of course the new polarizing design raised quite a few responses, most of them not so flattering, so Jeep has responded by releasing the first set of official photos of the new Cherokee.

Italian design house, Bertone has created this , which is a one-off Jet 2+2, which is basically an Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake. The Jet 2+2 takes the design of the four-door Rapide, but gives it a shooting brake style that is similar in shape to the Porsche Panamera Sports Turismo concept and Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake. The Bertone 2+2 is going to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

McLaren has released the performance specs for the McLaren P1 hybrid supercar that is going to debut next week in Geneva. The P1's hybrid powertrain generates a total 903 horsepower, which is enough to help the supercar reach 0-62 in less than three seconds, 0-124 mph in under seven seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 217 mph.

Last week leaked shots of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee basically forced Chrysler to unveil the Liberty successor ahead of its scheduled debut at the upcoming New York Auto Show. The 2014 Cherokee's polarizing design has sparked so many comments, mostly negative that have now prompted Chrysler to go on the defensive.
