McLaren has announced that the 903-hp P1 supercar will reach 0-62 mph in less than three seconds, 0-124 mph in less than seven seconds and has a top speed of 217 mph.
McLaren has released the performance specs for the McLaren P1 hybrid supercar that is going to debut next week in Geneva. The P1’s hybrid powertrain generates a total 903 horsepower, which is enough to help the supercar reach 0-62 in less than three seconds, 0-124 mph in under seven seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 217 mph.
The P1 is powered by a mid-mounted 3.8L twin-turbocharged V8 that is mated to an electric motor that together generate 903 horsepower. In fully electric mode the P1 has the ability to travel up to 12 miles with an average speed of 30 mph.
McLaren has also announced that the P1 will start at £866,000 ($1.31 million) when it goes on sale this fall.
