BRABUS claims that their modified Mercedes-Benz CL600 (BRABUS SV12 Biturbo) is the world’s most powerful and fastest coupe.
In order to increase the power of the large coupe they bored out the cylinders and gave the crankshaft a longer stroke, which increased the displacement of the V-12 from 5.5 liters to 6.3. That makes it the most powerful street legal V-12 engine in the world.
They also gave the car new intake manifolds, larger turbos, a more efficient intercooler and a low backpressure exhaust system, which all meet current European emissions standards.
The final output with the five-speed automatic transmission is 730 horsepower. This results in a 0-62 mph time of 4.0 seconds and a limited top speed of 210 mph.
What does the “most powerful car” cost? $242,000
