According to the latest VW sources, VW has no plans to sell a wagon version of the new Passat in the US. There have been spy photos of the Passat wagon testing in the US, but it was merely to test the vehicle in our climate.
VW has no plans to bring a Passat wagon to the US, since US car buyers don’t gravitate towards wagons. VW has repositioned the Passat to better take on models like the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, neither of which offer a wagon version in the US.
