VW is bring another electric version of the Beetle to the Beijing Motor Show next week, the E-Bugster Speedster. The newest concept is a topless follow up to the E-Bugster concept that debuted in Detroit earlier this year. The two-seater Beetle speedster shows how sportiness can be transferred to an all electric Beetle.

The E-Bugster is powered by an 85kW electric motor that propels the concept from 0-62 mph in 10.8 seconds. VW claims that in the real world the concept would have a range around 110 miles. The E-Bugster also a has a quick charging function that allows the battery to be re-charged in as little as 35 minutes.
