VW has released a preview of its new CrossBlue Coupe concept that is going to debut at the Shanghai Motor Show this weekend. The CrossBlue Coupe concept is VW’s take on the growing coupe-crossover segment like the BMW X4 concept that is also debuting at the show.
The CrossBlue Coupe Concept could hint at the future design direction of VW’s crossovers, specifically the next Tiguan. The CrossBlue Coupe Concept is powered by a V6 turbocharged engine that is mated to two electric motors for a combined output of 415 horsepower. The CrossBlue Concept will reach 0-62 mph in 5.9 seconds and in electric mode it can travel up to 20.5 miles.
